Getting crafty…

This morning we were supposed to have a meeting at work so I went in then planned on leaving since it was my day off. However we had no meeting so I got some work done quickly then headed to AC Moore. I needed some supplies to help my business and to package the orders when they come in.

I bought some candy molds, ribbons, butterflies and flowers. While I was checking out the ladies behind the register and in line asked me what kind of hobby I was doing. I told them nothing I sell Scentsy Candles and was going to make wax samples and package the orders before I dropped them off. They seemed really intrigued by Scentsy but unfortunately I had taken my business cards out of my purse and only had one catalog. Lesson learned I am stocking up tonight, because everywhere is an opportunity!

As for the crafting I bought all of this to package my orders with, when they arrive.

I am going to place them in the bags wrap them with the ribbon, include a thank you card for supporting my business, a business card with a hole punched (they have 12 punches) and a flower or butterfly.

The business card is so that if the person makes repeat sales with me I will punch their card, (also keep a tally for online orders) when they hit 12 I will give them or mail them a free block of wax or 2 of their choice.

Then it was time to make the samples!

 Step one melt wax in the warmer.

Step two pour wax into molds once full , either let harden in the molds or pop into the freezer for 5 minutes!

Step 3 Place them into plastic bags and staple a business card to them. I got these bags with white spots so I can label them with the scent.

All the activity made someone pretty sleepy!
